Rules and how to use/save especially the animated ones

Rules-

Do not steal my bandwidth.
I have a host and this will make their bill higher and I will no longer be hosted and then YOU will no longer have me to make LJ icons for you.

How do you steal bandwidth? (AKA hotlinking) this would be looking at the pictures address and then using that address to use the picture on a forum or on LJ.

How do I be a good visitor and get the pictures but not be a dirty rotten low down thief?

Ahh good question. Live Journal allows you to upload the pictures to their site.

If you want to use them on a board- join a place which ALLOWS direct linking of photos. For free!

Do not claim that you made these images.*

Do not post them on your site giving them away. (just send a person my way... I'm giving them away for FREE!)

Right click on the image and SAVE AS to someplace on your computer, then upload to your site, Live Journal or a hosting site if you are using on a message board.

The doubles are actually two different icons- one with a phrase and one without. for example- One of the Spike smoking ones say- "Smoking Kills" and the other one says nothing. Some are not animated- they state they are not on mouseover.

How to save the animated ones?

When you put your mouse over a icon that is animated it will say animated and your mouse icon will change. This indicates that it is a link. Click that icon and it will take you to the animated one which you right click and save as usual.

How to give credit in Live Journal

When you upload a pic to LJ, you get the option to name it. Say- My Spike.
You would simply write the name of your icon and then credit sunlit5.

That way other people
1. Know it's shareable
2. Know I can be found on LJ and thru my LJ find my site.
